Return & Refund Policy

Prospect Industrial Supplies LLC is committed to fulfilling orders accurately and completely. Please review this policy before placing your order.

Return Window

Returns are accepted within 30 days of the delivery date for eligible items in original, unused, and unopened condition. Items must be in their original manufacturer packaging with all documentation, labels, and components intact.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Items that have been opened, used, installed, or altered
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or compressed gases
  • Custom-ordered or special-order items
  • Items explicitly marked as non-returnable at time of purchase
  • Items damaged due to improper storage, installation, or use

How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, contact us within the return window:

We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Do not ship items back without an RMA number — unauthorized returns may be refused.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item was received damaged, defective, or incorrect. We recommend insuring return shipments and using a trackable carrier. Prospect Industrial Supplies LLC is not responsible for return shipments lost in transit.

Refunds

Once a return is received and inspected, we will process a refund within 5–7 business days to the original payment method. For government purchase orders paid by agency credit card or EFT, refunds will be processed via the same payment channel. Restocking fees of up to 15% may apply for large-volume orders returned in partial quantities.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us within 5 business days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Government and Institutional Buyers

Government agencies and prime contractors with specific return requirements under contract terms should contact us prior to purchase to confirm applicable return conditions. We work with procurement offices to resolve issues in compliance with applicable FAR/DFAR clauses.
